2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use PestMoto, we may process:
- Account data — name, email, username, role (owner, office, technician), and authentication credentials.
- Business / customer records — customer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, service history, notes, leads, routes, inventory, and billing records entered by a pest-control company.
- Location data — technician GPS and map locations used for dispatch, navigation, and operations maps (when location permission is granted on the Android app).
- Device & media — device identifiers needed for app function; camera or media access when used for Proof of Service or similar features you choose to use.
- Payments — payment-related information processed by Stripe (or similar providers). We do not store full card numbers on PestMoto servers when Checkout / AutoPay is used through Stripe.
- Usage & diagnostics — basic technical logs (for example IP address, app version, error logs) to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
- Provide Office, Android, and customer-portal features (routes, records, billing, portal updates).
- Authenticate users and enforce tenant isolation between companies.
- Support, troubleshooting, and security monitoring.
- Process payments and AutoPay when a company enables PestMoto Payments.
- Improve reliability and fix defects (aggregated or technical diagnostics where practical).
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers that host infrastructure, email, maps, or payments (for example cloud hosting, Stripe, Google Maps) under contracts that limit use to providing their service.
- The pest-control company that owns the tenant account — office staff and authorized technicians see that company’s own customer and job data.
- Legal requirements if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
5. Android app permissions
The PestMoto Android app may request:
- Location — for routing, navigation, and live map features.
- Camera / photos — when capturing Proof of Service or similar documentation.
- Notifications — for route and stock alerts.
- Network access — to sync with the PestMoto server.
You can deny or revoke permissions in Android settings; some features will not work without them.
6. Data retention
We retain account and business records for as long as the company account remains active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Companies may delete or request deletion of their tenant data subject to operational and legal constraints.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children’s privacy
PestMoto is built for business use. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices
- Account holders can update profile and company settings inside PestMoto.
- Technicians can manage location and camera permissions in Android settings.
- To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we control, email 1800stevenweeks@gmail.com. Tenant-owned customer data is primarily controlled by the pest-control company that entered it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of PestMoto after an update means you accept the revised policy.
